It will certainly happen

You look sad; what is the problem?
I am confused and don’t know what to believe again. I felt so sure God had spoken on this matter, but I can’t seem to see any result after all assurances. Maybe I should just forget it. I guess I was being presumptuous.” When a prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah, if the thing does not follow nor come to pass, that is the thing which Jehovah has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him Dt 18:22 (MKJV)
I know the verse, but don’t be offended: you say God spoke to you on this matter, or did you just claim things? If you were standing on a clear promise of scripture I would not call that presumption.
What will I call it then? I expected by now to see the manifestation of my prayer. If I have sinned God please show me! I am willing to repent.”
Ah! I think I see the problem.
What? Is there any sin you know I haven’t repented of?”
No my dear; you gave me a clue when you said “I expected by now to see the manifestation of my prayer.”
What is wrong with that?”
There is nothing wrong with that; I just noticed something in the words of Angel Gabriel that might help us here: The angel answered him, "I am Gabriel! I stand in the very presence of God. I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. But because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled at the proper time Lk 1:19,20(ISV).  God’s word of promise has a proper time for fulfillment. Consider God, who cannot lie, promised before the eternal times, but revealed His Word in its own times in a proclamation Tit 1:2, 3(MKJV)
“So what am I supposed to do? How do I know when it is God’s time?” Since God promised it; be rest assured it will happen. So do not throw away your confidence, since it holds a great reward for you. For you need endurance, so that after you have done God's will you can receive what he has promised.  Heb 10:35,36(ISV). I want you to continue making preparations for the answered prayer like Paul encouraged Philemon: At the same time, get a room ready for me, because I hope that God will answer the prayers of all of you and give me back to you Phm 1:22(GNB)
I want you to be thanking God for answering you each time you remember the issue. Consider it done!
